365 Building Services undertook a complete internal remodelling of Howden’s Basingstoke office and showrooms. This included demolition of all existing internal walls, installation of new partitions, ceilings, flooring, associated joinery, internal decoration, provision of specialist glazing, Mezzanine Floor installation, mechanical alterations to internal systems and utilities, new lighting, power and data.

The result was a bright and airy showroom, with clearly divided spaces where Howden’s kitchens could be displayed, whilst allowing the Howden’s team to easily update and change display set ups, without affecting the structure or feel of the store.

365 Building Services also created a large mezzanine office area, which enables the Howdens team to work in a quiet and separate space, whilst still having sight of the lower showroom.

The customer counter and associated racking sit underneath this mezzanine layer, allowing products to be stored neatly away, and a clear point of interaction for people entering the store. It reinforces the clean and modern feel of the showrooms, whilst remaining practical for the Howdens Team to access products and parts.

Sunseeker is the world’s leading brand for luxury performance motor yachts. originally named Poole power boats, the company was founded by brothers Robert and john Braithwaite in 1969.

365 Group have carried out a number of refurbishment projects at Sunseeker headquarters in Poole, all works here require stringent planning and preparation as almost all are carried out in live working environments.

This involves working within occupied premises which in itself requires day to day micro management to ensure our building works are carried out with minimal disruptions to Sunseekers day to day operations.

Since 1960, Mole Valley Farmers has played a leading role in keeping Britain growing - providing the agriculture and farming industries with agricultural supplies and equipment. Mole Valley Farmers has 56 retail locations, 9,000 Farmer Shareholders and more than 53,000 Country Members. The Mole Valley Farmers employ over 2,000 people and have a turnover of £615 million.

Mole Valley Farmers chose 365 Group to undertake an extensive refurbishment and renovation of its Cirencester Store, to bring the site into line with its evolving service provision for members and shoppers.

External works to the site included refurbishment of the building and car park to create a welcoming and organised environment. All new external signage was applied, main fascia illuminated signage was fitted working at height, including electrical and backlight working. Directional signage was placed at ground level to guide customers and car park lining was reconfigured with new arrows and parking bay markings. 365 Group also reconfigured external pallet racking to make it more accessible.

Internal works included retail design and full fitout, as well as refurbishment of toilet and staff areas. A new Farm Services area was created including a comfortable and welcoming members’ coffee area, as well as new equine POS areas and pet sections. 365 Group worked to prolong the life of existing retail furniture, recovering the main sales counter and reconfiguring existing shelving. A new food and drink area was also created in-store to allow the store to offer local produce and champion its links with local farmers and artisans.

All works were carried out in a phased way with out of hours working so that the store could remain open and trade with the minimum of disruption.

The site also required widespread external works such as an overhaul and repair of existing cladding, extensive roofing works, external lining, signage alterations and installation at height, and external and internal mechanical and electrical upgrades with testing.
